About Us
Mission
To accompany Black, Indigenous and People of Colour youth from Latin America as they navigate international climate policy, providing the support, knowledge and opportunities they need to influence decision-making while remaining rooted in their communities.
Vision
A future where international climate policy is shaped by the lived realities, knowledge and leadership of the communities it exists to serve.
Values
- Meaningful representation
Representation must be meaningful. Participation alone is not enough, it needs to be structured, prepared and informed to guide action.
- Care is political
Care is political and essential for long-term leadership.
- Language justice
Language should never determine who gets to engage in climate decision-making.
- Listening and solidarity
Leadership flourishes where there is a willingness to listen, trust and act in solidarity.
- Communities are experts
Communities experiencing the climate crisis are experts whose knowledge should shape climate policy.
- A shared responsibility
More representative climate governance is everyone's responsibility.
